Ilovetypography.com is a fantastic resource who for people who already love typography and for those who are just learning the difference between Times New Roman and Helvetica.
From a ‘rather difficult’ font game to serious interviews and advice, site author John Boardley helps us learn and play with the wild world of fonts.
“The long-term aim of this blog is to be such a resource, a one-stop-shop for everything about typography, from terminology to new typefaces, from inspirational examples of type to choosing the best typeface for the job, whether that be on- or off-line,” he wrote in an August 2007 blog entry. Since those early days, he’s more than fulfilled his goals and has also added free type-themed and type-inspired iPhone and desktop wallpapers “for typenuts.”
Johno has additionally launched welovetypography.com, which is a membership-by-invitation-only site showcasing image, video, and text ‘bookmarking’ features dedicated to type-related content.
